jokes on you i don’t push it
That over exaggerated hip slide! Something I never thought about and I was pushing all day yesterday. Makes sense to only clear a few inches and the TURN. Thanks for the video!
@bobbyeldridgegolf
Going to the range to try your fix now. pushing the ball has always been a big problem for me, sometime i hit it straight, sometime I hit it right. thanks.
thanks for the help fixed the ish in 1 hour and shot a 37 thanks
excellent video, answered my question perfectly. thanks bobby.
great lesson. thought hips were causing my push and thats cleared it up. cheers bobby.
really cleared the push up for me, thanks for that
I play of 7, but was as low as 5 a couple of years ago. The “push” kills me. SO your short video has cleared up so many silly doubts in my mind about the causes and fixes for a push. I though this lesson was absolutely fabulous. I can’t wait to get on the practice ground to try this.
thanks this helped alot
best tip I’ve ever heard to fix that damn push and occasional push draws. I’ve been shooting a consistent draw after this video for 4 months now. my scores have gone from high 90s to low 80s.
I do this with my Driver and 6 iron. I hit a 60 yard hook with my 3 wood and hybrid. My other clubs go where I want them. f’n golf
Nice video, this is something I am working on at present. Thanks for sharing.
great tip ill try it and get back to you
Thanks for the help Mr. Eldridge! As a beginner golfer this is my biggest problem. I’ll try that out this week.
Whenever I put a 5 wood in my hand I push the shot more often than not. I do not push my other shots; just the 5 wood. At one time, the 5 wood was my favorite club but not now. I’ll chose a 7 wood to hit instead of a 5 wood. How can I fix this problem?
Thank you.
Thanks, this helped a lot.
Appreciate it. Anytime.
Great instruction. Can’t wait to try it out tomorrow at the range.
Your welcome.
Bobby, thanks a million for this video. I’ve been struggling for a long time to fix my slice, and it now seems that I have “fixed” it a bit too well, because now I have a persistent push that I couldn’t figure out how to fix. Until I saw this video. You are right. I was not turning over my arms and clearing my left hip. I can hardly wait to get out on the range in the morning for a workout, and start hitting the ball straight to my target. Thanks again!
Yes, make sure to look at your divot after you heel or shank the shot. If the divot is going to the right, you are too much from the inside. If the divot is going to the left you are too much from the outside.
Bobby, great video. Can’t this block motion (too far from the inside) be the cause of my heel hits with my irons? I either out right shank it or get dangerously close to the hosel and I’ve noticed I’ve been blocking a lot of shots. thanks for the help.
I corrected my slice, now I push the ball to the right a ton. I don’t push at all with my irons there always hit straight. But my driver is pushing right a lot. I know even before i hit the ball when I hit a nice shot. I can feel my left hip clearing out and my hands crossing over. When I push the ball right my left hip don’t clear out at all. I just never knew that made a difference tonight. I’m gonna golf 18 tonight we will see how this knew technique works.
